Information for Agents

Agent Agreement Process
  • Prior to recruiting students for the International Student Pathways Program, agents must complete the following process:
    Initial contact with the London District Catholic School Board
  • A meeting to exchange and share information between board and agent
  • Determination made of “fit”
  • If yes, complete agent application form to be sent to the attention of S. Wright-Evans, International Student Pathways Program: [email protected]
  • Approval of Agent application (all approved applications and agreements will be maintained in Director’s Office, London District Catholic School Board) 
  • Completion of Agent recruiting agreement

 

Student Recruitment
Agents with recruiting agreements will follow the process below when recruiting students for the International Student Pathways Program:
  • Meeting between family and recruiting agent
  • Completed student application to be sent to attention of Sharon Wright-Evans: [email protected]
  • Payment in Canadian funds of non-refundable application fee and payment of tuition fee (tuition fees are subject to change without notice) to be sent via bank wire transfer to attention of London District Catholic School Board; agent will provide bank information
  • Documents to accompany application:
    • Certified copy of Birth Certificate and Passport with certified translation of documents in English
    • Student transcripts from most recent school year
    • Letter of recommendation, in English, from one or more teachers
  • transcript and letter of recommendation to be reviewed with recommendation made to principal of International Student Pathways Program
  • Student participates in English language interview with recruiting agent and principal of International Student Pathways program
  • Principal recommends acceptance to International Student Pathways Program
  • Letter of Acceptance issued to family through recruiting agent
  • Copies of Letter of Acceptance to go to Principal of International student Pathways Program and Finance Department, London District Catholic School Board
 
Recruiter/Family’s Responsibility Once Letter of Acceptance Issued
  • Obtain study permit and authorize custodianship
  • Immunization documentation
  • Release of Information, permission to post pictures and work on website signed by parents
  • Following indication of interest in post-secondary institution conditional letter of acceptance will be issued
    Through recruiting agent, finalize homestay arrangement
  • Arrange Medical insurance
  • Communicate travel arrangements to agent
  • Recruiter to communicate day and time student arrival in London with Principal and Homestay family
 
First Days of International Student Pathways Program
  • Participate in program orientation
  • Meet with ESL teachers for English Language Assessment
  • Meet with Guidance teachers for scheduling fo courses
